Before the legal stuff: here's what you're agreeing to in plain English.
- ReceiptRadar helps you track income, expenses, HST, and mileage as a Canadian gig driver
- We provide tools and reports — you are responsible for filing your own taxes
- We are not your accountant (unless you separately engage ScaleUp Accounting)
- Your data belongs to you
- You can cancel anytime
1. Who we are
ReceiptRadar is operated by ScaleUp Accounting, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

2. Accepting these terms
By creating a ReceiptRadar account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in Canada to use ReceiptRadar.
3. What ReceiptRadar does
ReceiptRadar is a financial tracking tool for Canadian gig economy drivers. It helps you:
- Track income across multiple platforms (Uber, DoorDash, Skip the Dishes, Lyft, Instacart, Amazon Flex)
- Scan and categorize receipts using AI
- Calculate HST collected and Input Tax Credits (ITCs)
- Log business mileage
- Generate CRA-ready reports including T2125
4. What ReceiptRadar does NOT do
ReceiptRadar is not a tax filing service. We generate reports and organize your data — but we do not file your taxes with the CRA on your behalf.
ReceiptRadar is not your accountant. The information and reports in the app are for organizational and informational purposes. They do not constitute professional tax or accounting advice.
The Ask AI feature is not professional advice. Responses from the AI assistant are generated automatically and may not reflect your specific tax situation. Always verify important tax decisions with a qualified Canadian tax professional.
If you need a tax preparer, ScaleUp Accounting (our parent company) offers tax preparation services for gig drivers. Contact hello@scaleupaccounting.ca.

7. Your data
Your financial data belongs to you. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
You can export your data or delete your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use ReceiptRadar for any unlawful purpose
- Enter false financial data intended to mislead the CRA
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the ReceiptRadar software
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform
- Attempt to access another user's account
9. Accuracy of reports
We work hard to ensure our CRA report calculations are accurate. However:
- You are responsible for reviewing your reports before using them for tax purposes
- We cannot guarantee that our calculations are free of errors
- Tax rules change — we update our logic when CRA guidance changes, but we are not liable for errors caused by rule changes we have not yet implemented
The CRA holds you responsible for your tax filings, not ReceiptRadar.
10. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will communicate planned downtime in advance where possible.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, ScaleUp Accounting's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of ReceiptRadar is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for:
- CRA penalties, interest, or audit outcomes
- Loss of data due to circumstances outside our control
- Indirect or consequential damages
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of ReceiptRadar after that date means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ottawa, Ontario.
